Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon, leveled cinnamon powder
  • 2 sachets vanilla sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 bag baking powder
  • 6 large apples, best Boskoop
  • some powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and cut into thin wedges. Place in a bowl and drizzle with a little lemon juice so that they don`t turn brown.
  2. Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs together until the sugar is dissolved. Mix cocoa, cinnamon, baking powder and flour together and stir in quickly. Pour 2/3 of the batter into a springform pan lined with baking paper, distribute the apple wedges on top and pour the rest of the batter onto the apple wedges.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 60 minutes. Do the chopsticks test 10 minutes before the end and, if necessary, place baking paper on the cake if it still has to stay in, otherwise it will quickly turn black.
  4. Let cool down. Dust with icing sugar and serve.
