Ingredients

  • 500 g spelled flour, type 630
  • 500 g spelled flour, (whole wheat flour)
  • 20 g salt
  • 80 g yeast, fresh or 2 bas dry yeast
  • 20 g suar or honey or turnip tops
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 600 ml water, lukewarm

Instructions

  1. Put the flour in a mixing bowl and crumble in the yeast or add the dry yeast. Add sugar, water, salt and olive oil and knead everything into a smooth dough. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  2. Then shape the dough into approx. 20 rolls on a floured work surface. Place the dough pieces on a baking sheet that has been greased or lined with baking paper, cover and let rise for another 25 minutes.
  3. Before baking, score the rolls with a sharp knife and moisten with water. Bake the rolls in the oven preheated to 220 ° C top / bottom heat for 15 minutes and then bake for another 10 minutes at 200 ° C.
