Ingredients

  • 400 g flour (spelled), freshly round
  • 1 packet yeast (dry yeast, dry yeast)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon spice mix for bread
  • 250 ml milk, lukewarm
  • Lukewarm water (as required)
  • 1 egg (s), for brushing
  • Sunflower seeds, pine nuts, as desired

Instructions

  1. Put the flour, yeast, salt and spices in a bowl and add the milk. Stir everything well and add lukewarm water as required. Knead the dough until it is smooth (can also be kneaded in the food processor) and shape into a ball. Sprinkle some flour in a bowl, put the ball of dough in it and cover it with a tea towel and let it rise for approx. 30-45 minutes in the preheated oven (50-70 ° C) - switch off the oven while walking, the heat from the preheating is sufficient for walking .
  2. After the specified time, knead the dough again (let rise again if necessary).
  3. Shape the dough into small, smooth patties, place on the tray and brush with egg, sprinkle with seeds if necessary.
  4. Bake the rolls at 180 ° C for about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Tip: The alarm clocks are ready when they sound hollow when you tap the underside!
