Spicy Burgers with Ground Meat

Homemade hamburgers, minced meat recipe. You can only taste such savory hamburgers at home, spending very little time on their preparation.
Ingredients
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp
- Onions (finely chopped) – 1 pc.
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic (chopped) – 2 cloves
- Chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Coarse minced meat – 500 g
- Ground black pepper – 1/4 teaspoon.
- Brown sugar – 1 teaspoon
- Tomato puree – 1 glass
- Ketchup – 1/2 cup
- Water – 1/4 cup
- Hot sauce – 1/4 teaspoon
- Hamburger buns – 4 pcs.
How to make a hamburger:
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil to high heat. Pour the onion, salt into the pan and mix well. Reduce the heat slightly, cover the pan with a lid and cook, periodically opening the lid and stirring the onions, until soft, about 10 minutes (if the onions begin to acquire a golden hue after 5 minutes, then reduce the heat to a minimum and continue cooking). Remove the lid, add the garlic and chili powder to the pan, and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 30 seconds.
- Pour the minced meat into the pan and cook, breaking the lumps with a wooden spoon, until pink, about 3 minutes.
- Pour 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, sugar, tomato puree, ketchup, water, and hot sauce into the pan. Simmer over low heat until slightly thickened, about 8-10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cut the hamburger buns in half and put the minced meat in them. Serve the burgers immediately.
