Spicy Chicken Curry

This dish will be cooked faster than an Indian restaurant delivery courier reaches your door. Chicken fillet is stewed in a fragrant sauce with spices and seasonings for just a few minutes.

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 1 Kilogram
  • Lemon Juice – 1 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Curry Leaves – 3 Pieces
  • Coconut oil – 3 Tbsp. spoons
  • Mustard seeds – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Ginger – 2 Teaspoons
  • Garlic – 2 Teaspoons
  • Green Chili – 5 Pieces
  • Tomato – 6 Pieces
  • Cardamom – 3 Pieces
  • Tomato Paste – 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt, pepper – To taste

Directions

  1. Rinse the chicken pieces under running water.
  2. Season the meat with turmeric, mustard, lemon juice, curry and salt.
  3. Heat oil in a deep saucepan, fry chopped ginger, garlic and chili in it.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cardamom to the skillet. Simmer the vegetable mixture for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the meat, tomato paste and some water to the vegetable stock.
  6. Simmer the meat for 5-7 minutes.
