- 1 red pepper (s)
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 150 ml vegetable stock, instant
- 100 ml cream
- 1 small potato (s)
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- Cayenne pepper

- Peel and dice the onion. Rinse the pepper, clean, core and cut into pieces.
- Melt the butter and sweat the onion cubes and the pepper pieces in it. Deglaze with broth and bring to the boil briefly. Pour in 50 ml of cream and simmer for 15 minutes.
- In the meantime, peel, wash and finely dice the potatoes. Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the potato cubes for about 5-10 minutes while turning. Then season with salt. Whip the rest of the cream until it is half stiff.
- Puree the soup with a cutting stick and season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Pour the paprika soup into a plate, place the semi-whipped cream decoratively on top and serve sprinkled with the potato cubes and basil.
