Ingredients

  • g 1,200 potato (s)
  • 200 g ham, diced, lean raw
  • 2 bunches chives
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 375 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 cup cream
  • 3 tablespoon, leveled flour
  • 30 g butter, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled cayenne pepper
  • salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • 200 g cheese, rated spicy

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in their skins, let them cool down, peel them and cut them into slices (works well the day before).
  2. Put the potato slices with the ham cubes in a baking dish. Thoroughly whisk the eggs, quark, cream, flour and butter, cut the chives into rolls and add the cayenne pepper (if you like, you can also add 1-2 chopped garlic cloves). Salt and pepper a little, stir the sauce again and pour over the potato and ham mixture.
  3. Put the casserole in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake for another 10 minutes.
  4. The casserole can be prepared well in the morning, so the sauce gets better in the potatoes.
  5. In summer I like to put tomato slices on the casserole.
