Ingredients

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon cane sugar
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • mint

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries, preferably under the shower, remove the stems and let them dry on paper towels. Place in a bowl, halve or quarter larger strawberries if necessary. Sprinkle with the cane sugar and drizzle with the balsamic vinegar. Make sure that all strawberries are drizzled, mix carefully if necessary. Cover and let steep for about 1 hour at room temperature. Divide into two portions and decorate with mint leaves.
  2. Always make sure that the best balsamic vinegar is used for this recipe!
