- 350 g round beef, lean
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 5 mushrooms, chopped
- 1 packet bacon
- 2 tablespoon BBQ sauce

- For the filling, put the minced meat in a bowl and season with the spices. Add the mushrooms and mix well with your hands.
- Peel the onion and cut it lengthways in the middle. Remove as many layers individually as you need for the meat. With this amount 3 - 4 balls should be possible. Shape the meat balls so that they fit well into the onion skins. Use two halves of the onion skin to enclose a meatball. Wrap these balls with the bacon and brush with the BBQ sauce.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 30 minutes or grill them on the grill.
