Ingredients

  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 5 tablespoon durum wheat semolina
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon salt
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • Water, lukewarm
  • 80 g olives, black, without stone
  • oregano
  • Fleur de sel
  • Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water with the honey and wait until it foams, add to the flour and knead with the other ingredients (except the olives), add enough water until a smooth dough is formed, cover and let rise for at least an hour (longer is also no problem).
  2. Knead again well, mix in the olives and form a long loaf of bread. Put in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 °.
  3. Remove the bread, brush with olive oil, sprinkle with salt crystals and oregano and bake for another 5 minutes.
  4. I also use fleur de sel (salt crystals) for baking, not just for sprinkling, please be careful not to use it like sugar; o))
  5. Freshly baked with self-picked tomatoes and a glass of Rosé de Provence!
