Ingredients

  • 300 g spaetzle, ready-made, if possible hand-scraped
  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 large onions
  • liter ⅛ red wine
  • 200 ml cream
  • 4 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, whiter
  • thyme
  • 1 clove garlic
  • butter
  • Cheese, sliced

Instructions

  1. Sauté the finely chopped onions in a little butter, add the minced meat kneaded with the crushed clove of garlic and roast. Deglaze with the red wine and stir in the tomato paste. Season with pepper, salt and thyme and cook through. Add parsley. Mix the meat and spaetzle, fill it in a buttered casserole dish, pour the cream over it, cut the cheese slices into strips and place them in a grid shape. Sprinkle with bits of butter. Bake at 180 degrees hot air for about 15 minutes. As a side dish, green salad.
