Ingredients

  • 60 g butter, soft
  • 40 g suar
  • 10 g vanilla suar, preferably no sachets
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 125 ml milk, 1.5% fat
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped baking powder
  • some fat for the waffle iron

For the sauce:

  • 250 g frozen fruits, e.. raspberries, strawberries, berry mix
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 100 ° C so that the waffles stay warm later. It is best to put the plate in already, provided it is heat-resistant. You can also let the butter soften in the oven if you forget to put it out.
  2. Put the frozen fruits in a tall container and let thaw mixed with the sugar. If the vessel is fireproof, you can put the fruit in the oven for a few minutes as long as it has not reached full temperature.
  3. Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Gradually add the eggs one by one and the milk in sips and stir well. It should be a nice, creamy, loose mass of even color. Mix the flour and baking powder, stir into the egg and butter mixture. Make sure that there are no lumps.
  4. Heat the waffle iron and fry the dough in portions to make golden yellow and crispy waffles. Keep warm in the oven separately with baking paper.
  5. Now finely puree the defrosted fruits, if necessary pass them through a fine sieve to remove the seeds, and serve as a sauce with the warm waffles.
  6. The amount given above is sufficient for a maximum of three people for those with a sweet tooth. If you have several people, it is better to take double to triple the amount.
