Waffle Brizol with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cheese

Such an original breakfast can be made from waffle cakes, inside which are juicy filling of sausage, tomatoes, and hard cheese. Waffle brizol – fast, satisfying, and delicious.

Ingredients

  • Wafer cakes (round) – 2 pcs.
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Sausage – 130 g
  • Tomatoes – 100-120 g
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 40-50 ml

Directions

  1. We prepare all the necessary products.
  2. Cut the cheese into slices about 0.2-0.3 cm thick. Remove the shell from the sausage. Cut the sausage into slices about 0.3 cm thick, cut the tomatoes into thin slices (about 0.3-0.4 cm).
  3. Break eggs into a bowl, add black pepper and salt, and mix until smooth with a fork or at low speed with a mixer.
  4. Pour the resulting egg mixture into a large flat plate.
  5. In the egg mixture, moisten the waffle cake on both sides.
  6. Transfer the waffle cake soaked in the egg mixture to a clean plate. Spread half of the sliced ​​sausage evenly on half of the cake.
  7. Place half of the cheese on top of the sausage and half of the tomatoes on top of the cheese.
  8. Cover the filling with the second half of the cake.
  9. In a frying pan, heat half the vegetable oil (20-25 ml), put the waffle brizol with the filling there. Cover the pan with a lid.
  10. Fry the brizol with sausage, tomatoes, and cheese over the fire slightly below average for 1.5-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown. We do the same with the remaining waffle crust and filling.
