Ingredients

  • 250 g wheat (Ebly tender wheat)
  • 300 g chicken breast fillet (s) (or turkey breast)
  • 2 red pepper (s)
  • 1 can corn
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda, can be more)
  • 1 bunch chives
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 150 g crème fraîche (or sour cream)
  • salt and pepper
  • some paprika powder
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ebly wheat according to the instructions on the packet. In the meantime, wash the chicken breast fillet, pat dry and cut into small pieces. Fry the meat in heated oil and season with salt, pepper and paprika powder.
  2. Halve the peppers, clean, wash and cut into small cubes. Drain the corn, grate the cheese, wash the chives and cut into rolls. Beat the eggs with the crème fraîche until smooth and mix in half of the cheese. Add the chives rolls.
  3. Put the cooked wheat with peppers, corn and meat in a baking dish, mix thoroughly and season with salt, pepper and paprika powder to taste.
  4. Fold in the egg and cheese mixture. Pour the rest of the cheese over it and bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 20 minutes until a golden brown cheese crust has formed. Serve garnished with chives if desired.
  5. Variation: Instead of wheat, you can also use roughly the same amount of rice.
