Ingredients

  • 900 ml apple juice
  • 1 lemon (s), the juice it
  • 1 kg preserving sugar, :
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ ginger powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ cardamom, ground
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cl amaretto

Instructions

  1. Put the apple juice, lemon juice, preserving sugar and spices together in a sufficiently large saucepan, cover and leave to stand overnight.
  2. The next day, bring to the boil, cook for 5 minutes while stirring constantly. Make a gel test.
  3. At the end of the cooking time, add the amaretto.
  4. Pour into jars rinsed with hot water and close immediately. Cover with cloths and let stand to cool down.
