Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 150 grams flour
  • 1 packet custard powder, vanilla
  • 140 g butter
  • 90 g suar
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 100 ml egg liqueur

For covering:

  • 400 g apples (2 lare apples)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 100 g marzipan
  • 40 g flaked almonds

Instructions

  1. Stir the butter until creamy, continue to stir with the sugar and eggs until very frothy, then add the remaining dough ingredients.
  2. Spread the dough in a prepared small form (approx. 22 x 20 cm). Peel and core the apples and cut into fine wedges. Put these close together in the dough, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, grate the marzipan and sprinkle with flaked almonds. Put the mold in the preheated tube and bake the cake at 180 ° for 35-40 minutes (stick test). After about 15 minutes, cover the cake with aluminum foil.
