- 1 kg asparagus (also broken asparagus)
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 1 pinch (s) sugar
- 80 g butter
- 4 egg (s)
- 50 g flour
- 50 g almond (s), sliced
- 200 g whipped cream
- 1 tablespoon stock (instant)
- 70 g cheese, rated (possibly Emmentaler or Gouda)
- 60 g ham, smoked or cooked
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Pepper White
- salt
- Nutmeg, grated

- Peel the asparagus, cut into 4 cm long pieces, cook for about 10 minutes, adding 1 pinch of salt and sugar each. Grease the baking dish with butter.
- Mix the eggs, flour, cream, stock powder and cheese into a sauce. Mix the drained asparagus with the chopped ham and almonds and place in the baking dish. Pour the sauce over them.
- Cover and cook in the preheated oven (200 ° C or 170 ° C with hot air) for 30-40 minutes. The sauce must be thick. Finally leave it open for a moment so that a golden-yellow crust forms.
