Instructions

  1. Tie approx. 40 cm roasting tube at one end with the enclosed plastic tape. Peel the asparagus and cut off the ends. Put the asparagus with the water, a little lemon juice, salt, butter and sugar in the roasting tube. Tie up the roasting tube. Cut across the roasting tube at the top, like a chimney. Put in the oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat (preheated) for 25 minutes.
  2. After the cooking time, take the roasting tube out of the oven, carefully cut the tube open (attention: very hot!) And serve the asparagus with boiled potatoes, hollandaise sauce and ham.
  3. The intensive brew from the roasting tube can still be used excellently for asparagus soup or hollandaise sauce.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
