- 1 kg asparagus, white, not too tender in taste, weighed peeled
- 1 kg potato (s), slightly floury
- 8 sausages, smoked, for cooking
- 1 medium onion (s)
- 1 cup sweet cream
- 1 pinch (s) sugar
- salt and pepper

- Wash and peel the asparagus, cut into pieces approx. 2 cm long. If necessary, boil the bowls in 1 liter of water. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Cut the sausages into slices approx. 2 cm wide. Peel the onion, cut into small cubes.
- Put the sausages in a large, cold saucepan. Let it come to heat slowly so that the fat fries out. Add the onions and stew them. When everything is a little browned, add the potatoes, asparagus and sugar. Lightly salt and pepper 1 liter of water or asparagus stock from the boiled peel, then pour in. The ingredients should just be covered. Bring to the boil and simmer for approx. 15 minutes. Then add the sweet cream and stir. The soup is now thickening a little.
- If the soup is cooked the day before: Let it cool down quickly without adding any cream, then put it in the fridge. Bring to the boil before consumption, then stir in the cream, done.
- You can also make the stew with green asparagus, which is faster because you don`t have to peel the asparagus. It tastes much more delicate, is not as creamy as the cream does not bind.
