Ingredients

  • 200 g oyster mushrooms
  • 2 medium egg (s)
  • 90 ml wine
  • 80 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 250 g quark
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 pinch (s) lemon (s) - zest
  • 1 tablespoon herbs, finely chopped (chives, parsley, basil, tarragon or sorrel)
  • salt and pepper
  • Fat, for deep-frying
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Clean the oyster mushrooms and cut them in half if necessary.
  2. Whisk eggs, wine and oil, season with salt and pepper. Add the flour and stir well. Dip the mushrooms in the wine batter and bake in hot fat (approx. 160-170 degrees) until golden yellow. Drain on kitchen paper and season.
  3. Put the quark in a bowl. Finely chop the garlic, add and stir together with the remaining ingredients. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
  4. Serving:
  5. Arrange the baked mushrooms on a plate, add the dip and enjoy! Good Appetite!
  6. This recipe is only part of a suggestion for mushroom variations.
