Instructions

  1. Put the grated potatoes in a sieve and squeeze out lightly. Put in a bowl, add eggs, onion, salt and nutmeg (to taste) and stir. Thicken with a little flour (the dough should be viscous), if necessary.
  2. Heat the fat in a pan, pour the batter into the pan with a ladle, form small, oval pancakes (approx. 17x10cm, three pieces in a 24cm pan) until golden on both sides. Place in an ovenproof dish, sprinkle the diced ham and then the cheese on top.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 10-15 minutes (until the cheese bubbles and is lightly browned).
  4. Serve and enjoy.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
