Ingredients

  • 160 g sausae (half a arlic sausae, sucuk), finely diced
  • 2 tomato (s), peeled and diced
  • 50 g cucumber (s), pickled (diced small) or 1 reen pepper (diced small)
  • 200 g sour cream or sour cream
  • 125 g Camembert (s), debarked, finely diced or 80 sheep cheese / feta / Gouda / Edam cheese
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste, Turkish or paprika paste
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 9 slices toast
  • 9 slices processed cheese / sandwich cheese (e.g. Gouda)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ chilli flakes
  • Margarine or butter for brushing

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin from the sucuk.
  2. Dice all ingredients and mix them all together in a bowl. (Everything except toast & sandwich cheese)
  3. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Bake 9 slices of toast in the oven with 1 turn for approx. 15 minutes until lightly crispy (at approx. 200 ° C).
  5. Brush the toast with margarine and distribute the prepared sucuk mixture on the slices, add approx. 2 tablespoon of each toast.
  6. Finally, top with the sandwich cheese and bake in the preheated oven (top and bottom heat / middle rack) at 200 degrees for approx. 18-20 minutes.
  7. Tip: You can also drink black tea that has been brewed the Turkish way. That fits really well with it!
