Banana Smoothie with Flaxseed and Raisins

An unusual drink with a pleasant taste – a thick baked milk-based smoothie, similar to a delicate dessert. Despite the lack of sugar in the composition, the smoothie is very sweet thanks to the addition of banana and raisins, and the crushed flaxseeds give an interesting texture.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Baked milk – 400 ml
  • Banana (large) – 1 pc.
  • Flax seeds – 2 tbsp
  • Raisins – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. It is advisable to choose a ripe banana – their pulp is sweeter.
  2. Grind flax seeds in a coffee grinder or blender.
  3. Pour half of the milk (200 ml) into a saucepan or saucepan, heat, and bring to a boil. Send the crushed seeds to a bowl and cover with milk. Cover with a lid or plate and leave to cool for about 20-30 minutes (or more). If you plan to make a smoothie for breakfast, you can do this in the evening and leave the mixture in a cool place overnight.
  4. Rinse and dry the raisins.
  5. In a blender bowl, combine raisins and a milk-flaxseed mixture.
  6. Peel the banana, break it into pieces and also send it to the blender bowl.
  7. Pour in the remaining 200 ml of milk. Beat on high speed until smooth.
  8. Pour the finished smoothie into glasses and serve. Bon Appetit!
