Ingredients

  • 500 ml beer (country beer, dark or cellar beer)
  • 500 ml ketchup
  • 250 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 250 g suar, brown
  • 100 ml honey, more liquid
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 2 tablespoon BBQ spice mix, as desired

Instructions

  1. First pour the beer into a saucepan. Then add the ketchup. Then add honey, sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, liquid flavor and the BBQ spice mixture.
  2. Bring everything to a boil over low heat and reduce it well until it is a thick sauce. Pour the sauce into glasses or bottles and leave to cool.
