Ingredients

  • 500 g potato (s)
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 jar beans (green beans), 360 g dripped weight
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • some oil
  • 2 medium tomato (s)
  • 250 g feta cheese or herder cheese
  • some Milk
  • salt and pepper
  • Marjoram, dried
  • Thyme, dried

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and cook in water for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, peel and finely dice the onion and garlic or press the garlic.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the minced meat in it until crumbly. Briefly sauté the onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Drain the beans in a colander. If you want to use fresh green beans, cook them beforehand in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes. Quench the potatoes, peel them and cut them into slices. Clean, wash and cut the tomatoes into pieces.
  4. Put the seared minced meat in a large baking dish. Mix the potatoes, beans and tomatoes, season with salt, pepper and marjoram and spread on top. Crumble herder cheese or feta cheese in a small bowl and mix with the milk until a creamy mixture is obtained. Season this with salt, pepper and thyme, with feta cheese rather more economical.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture over the casserole. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for approx. 25 - 30 minutes.
