Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, cooked, peeled - from the day before
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • Parsley, chopped
  • some butter
  • Cheese, Gouda, sliced or grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Thyme, (carefully)
  • Nutmeg, (ground)

Instructions

  1. Peel the boiled potatoes from the previous day and cut them into slices (approx. 1-1.5 cm). Steam the diced onion and chopped parsley (amount according to taste and preference) in the fat. Now grease an ovenproof dish and layer the ingredients.
  2. Salt and pepper the potato slices, top with nutmeg powder and thyme. Then some of the onion and parsley mixture and cover with Gouda cheese. Repeat these layers over and over. Finally, a thick layer of cheese.
  3. Off to the preheated oven. At about 180 degrees 15-20 minutes
  4. A glass mold is the best way to see when the cheese has melted in all layers.
  5. It`s a very filling dish!
