Ingredients

  • 6 tomato (s), ripe (very firm ones are not recommended)
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 125 g ham, diced
  • 2 egg (s)
  • salt
  • some margarine

Instructions

  1. Eight tomatoes, peel the onion and cut into half rings and whisk the eggs well in a cup with a fork.
  2. Heat some margarine in a pan (important: the pan must have a suitable lid!). Put the half onion rings and the diced ham in the pan and fry lightly. Add the tomatoes, stir well, cover the pan with the lid and let the tomatoes simmer well. Stir occasionally.
  3. Finally add the beaten eggs, stirring constantly. Season well with salt and pepper.
  4. Eat bread or rice with it!
  5. Instead of ham, sausage can also be used. If you don`t like the skin of the tomatoes, you can also use the skinned ones. The preparation time depends on the quantity and firmness of the tomatoes.
  6. Looks a little strange, but tastes absolutely delicious!
