Instructions

  1. Inspired by American fast food, I have created a delicious breakfast bale.
  2. First the oven is preheated to 170 ° C.
  3. Then some oil is heated in the pan and the lettuce and tomato are washed. The lettuce is cut to the size of a bagel and the tomato is cut into slices.
  4. Fry the turkey breast strips in the pan until they have a light brown crust (searing them briefly results in juicier meat). While the meat is roasting, the bagels can be divided in the middle and placed in the preheated oven together with a bowl of water for 5 minutes.
  5. Put a tablespoon of herbal cream cheese together with some ground coriander, nutmeg and garlic in a bowl. In addition, a strong pinch of paprika powder. Mix everything well. Alternatively, fresh coriander / garlic can also be used. You can also use creme fraiche instead of the cheese spread, which calls for your imagination.
  6. Season the turkey strips with a little salt and pepper and set aside. The bagels should be crisp by now and can be out of the oven. Cover half of the bagel with slices of cream cheese with herbs, coat the other half with a little herbal cream and top with lettuce leaf, tomato slices and strips of turkey breast.
  7. It goes faster with pre-fried turkey breast strips, which you can warm up with the bagels.
