- 1 kg Brussels sprouts, frozen
- 1 large onion (s)
- 1 can tomato (s), chunky
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vegetable stock, grained
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder

- Put the Brussels sprouts in a saucepan. Dice the onion and add to the Brussels sprouts with the tomatoes, sugar, olive oil and vegetable stock. Pour in boiling water until everything is just covered. Do not stir.
- Simmer the stew over a medium heat for 30 minutes and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Very tasty as a main course or as a side dish.
