Ingredients
- 500 g Brussels sprouts, chopped up
- 4 sausages (Brägen)
- 100 g carrot (s), peeled, sliced
- 250 g potato (s), peeled, sliced
- 1 leek stick (s), cut into rings
- 200 g smoked bacon, mixed, cut into slices
- 2 medium onion (s), diced
- 60 g lard
- 1 ½ liter meat stock, possibly instant
- Salt and pepper, black, from the mill

- Bring the meat stock to a boil and simmer the carrots, potatoes, leek and bacon for 15 minutes.
- Heat the lard in a pan and sweat the onions in it.
- Add the Brussels sprouts and onions to the stock, season with salt and pepper and simmer over a low heat for approx. 20 minutes. Add the sausages 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time and heat.
