Bulgur with Mushrooms

Bulgur with mushrooms is an excellent lean dish.

- Bulgur recipes with mushrooms.
- Pour the required amount of cereal into the cauldron (no need to wash).
- Cover with water, bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat, covered, until tender (about 20 minutes). Remove from heat and leave covered for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, peel, wash and chop the onion.
- Wash, coarsely chop the mushrooms.
- Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Put onion in hot oil. Fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown (2-3 minutes).
- Add mushrooms. Fry everything together, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour in ready-made bulgur.
- Mix well. Bulgur with mushrooms is ready.
- Serve bulgur with any fresh herbs.
