Cabbage Rolls with Chicken, Bulgur and Mushrooms

Young cabbage is tender and the stuffing in stuffed cabbage also needs to be chosen more gently so that it cooks quickly and is tasty. Chicken with bulgur is very suitable, and you can season cabbage rolls with champignons.

Ingredients

  • Young cabbage – 2 small heads of cabbage
  • Chicken fillet – 500 g
  • Bulgur (boiled) – 400 g
  • Carrots – 50 g
  • Bulb onions – 3 pcs.
  • Butter or vegetable oil – 6 tbsp
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Chicken broth – 400 g
  • Champignons – 300 g
  • Sour cream – 100-150 g
  • Flour – 1 full teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Parsley and dill – 3 sprigs each
  • Green onion – 1 stalk

Directions

  1. Cut the cabbage stump from the cabbages, put the cabbage in a bag and put in the microwave for 4-5 minutes. Allow to cool, disassemble into leaves and cut off thicknesses from them.
  2. Cut the chicken fillet into small cubes. It will taste better than grind and mix it with porridge.
  3. Fry the chicken until lightly browned in 2 tablespoon. tablespoons of oil, salt and pepper.
  4. Separately spass at 2 tablespoon. tablespoons of oil, finely chopped one onion and grated carrots.
  5. Add sautéed vegetables and boiled bulgur to the chicken. Stir well and warm up.
  6. Beat two eggs with a fork and add to the filling.
  7. Add finely chopped greens. Stir until eggs set. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Put the filling on the prepared cabbage leaves and wind the cabbage rolls in any way you like. Put stuffed cabbage rolls in a saucepan and pour 300 ml of salted broth. If there is no broth, then you can also water. Put stuffed cabbage rolls with chicken in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Wash and dry the champignons. Chop finely. Cut two onions into small cubes.
  9. Spread the onion in the remaining oil.
  10. Add the mushrooms and fry, stirring occasionally, until the moisture evaporates. Sprinkle with flour and stir. Pour in sour cream mixed with 100ml of broth. Put out for 1-2 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  11. Add the mushrooms to the cabbage rolls and put the cabbage rolls with chicken and mushrooms in the oven for another 15 minutes.
  12. ‘Serve hot chicken cabbage rolls.
