Burrito Sushi

Great idea for making lazy sushi.

Ingredients

  • Rice – 1 glass
  • Lightly salted salmon – 120 g
  • Bulgarian red pepper – 40 g
  • Fresh cucumber – 40 g
  • Philadelphia cheese – 80 g
  • Nori – 2 sheets
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 1 tablespoon
  • Rice vinegar – 4 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce and wasabi – for serving

Directions

  1. Rinse the rice to clean water, exactly 6-7 times. Pour the cereal 1 cm higher with clean drinking water, put on high heat. As soon as the water boils, turn on the quietest heat, cover the cauldron tightly, and cook for exactly 15 minutes. After a while, remove the cauldron with rice from the stove, put paper towels between the cauldron and the lid, leave for another 15 minutes. At this time, mix the vinegar, salt, and sugar, put in the microwave for 20 seconds. Dissolve the salt and sugar crystals. Pour the dressing into the rice, stir. Soak paper towels in cold water, cover until cool.
  2. Put a whole sheet of nori on the mat, put the cooked rice on it with a wet spoon (about 4-5 tablespoons). Place Philadelphia cheese, fresh cucumber, and peeled Bulgarian pepper into thin strips in the middle. Top with a large piece of light salted salmon.
  3. Using a mat, roll the nori into a roll, place with the seam side down, let stand for a couple of minutes for the seam to stick. Use a sharp knife to cut the roll obliquely on one side – that’s it, the burrito-sushi are ready – serve with soy sauce and wasabi paste.
  4. In dia, the roll should be like a real burrito or at least twice the size of regular sushi rolls. Bon Appetit)))
