- 3 cup flour
- 2 cup / s sugar
- 2 cup buttermilk
- 3 egg (s)
- 1 packet baking powder
- 200 g desiccated coconut
- 125 g butter

- Mix the flour with 2 cups of sugar and the baking powder. Mix with the buttermilk and eggs (hand mixer). Place the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 15 minutes at 180 ° C - 200 ° C fan oven.
- In the meantime, melt the butter in a saucepan and bring to the boil with 1 cup of sugar and the desiccated coconut. Spread this mixture on the pre-baked dough and bake for another 10-15 minutes at the same temperature.
- Small note: The specification cup refers to a medium size for me. But the main thing is that you use the same cup size for all ingredients so that the ratio is right.
