Cabbage Casserole “Trio” with Cheese

We offer an author’s recipe for casseroles of three types of cabbage – broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts – in a special cheese sauce. The Trio vegetable casserole is tender, juicy, and very aromatic. A healthy breakfast for the whole family. Surprise your family with such a simple but delicious dish.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower – 150 g
  • Brussels sprouts – 150 g
  • Broccoli – 150 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Milk – 50 ml
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Curd cheese – 150 g
  • Bulb onions – 1/2 pc.
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves
  • Sunflower oil – 3-4 tbsp
  • Hops-suneli – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Breadcrumbs (optional) – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Prepare food for the Trio vegetable casserole. Peel the onion and garlic. Cut the onion into small cubes. Chop the garlic very finely.
  2. Divide cauliflower and broccoli (in this case, I take frozen, since now is not the season) to divide into small inflorescences. Leave the Brussels sprouts in their original form.
  3. Pour 2 tablespoon into a well-heated frying pan. tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add onion and garlic. Fry the onions until soft and transparent (about three minutes).
  4. Add cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli, stir and continue cooking until vegetables are soft for 5-7 minutes. You don’t need to salt yet. Set aside the finished vegetables, let them cool slightly. At this stage, turn on the oven so that it heats up to a temperature of 180 degrees. Beat eggs lightly with a fork or a whisk with salt and spices (hops-surely).
  5. Add milk and stir again. Add curd cheese and mash with a fork until the ingredients are combined. Since we did not salt the vegetables, the egg-curd mixture should taste a little too salty, and then the finished casserole will turn out to be moderately salty. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
  6. Add to the egg and curd mixture and stir. If desired, you can also add any fresh herbs.
  7. Prepare a baking dish. Pour 1-2 tablespoon. tablespoons of vegetable oil. Rub with a culinary brush. Arrange the vegetables, distribute, and pour over the egg-cheese mixture. Smooth with a cooking spatula or spoon.
  8. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs on top. With them, the casserole will turn out with a beautiful golden crust. But you can do without them.
  9. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 10 minutes. Always be guided by your oven.
  10. The TRIO cabbage casserole is ready.
