Instructions

  1. Cut the cabbage into small pieces and cook in a saucepan for about 10 minutes. Then drain well and fry in a pan with plenty of oil for about 35 minutes so that it turns nice and brown.
  2. In the meantime, mix the minced meat, egg and spices. Shape half into small balls and fry in a pan. Fry the rest of the minced meat in the pan as you would with a Bolognese. Add the garlic.
  3. Add the minced meat and meatballs to the cabbage, add water to the pan several times and add this to the pot. Let everything simmer for about 40 minutes.
  4. Thicken and season to taste.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
