Soup with Meatballs, Potatoes and Cabbage

A delicious summer soup with minced pork meatballs, young potatoes and cabbage is a real find. The dish is great for cooking for every day, since all the ingredients cook pretty quickly. Young vegetables and meatballs are a great combination and option for a varied lunch.

Ingredients
- Minced pork – 300 g
- Young potatoes – 200 g
- Young cabbage – 100 g
- Carrots – 80 g
- Onions – 80 g
- Bread crumbs – 1 tbsp
- Egg – 0.5 pcs.
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper – to taste
- Water – 1.5 l
Directions
- Prepare all products according to the list.
- Transfer the minced meat to a convenient bowl, add breadcrumbs, add salt and black pepper. Separately, break the egg into a bowl, shake it slightly with a fork and add half the egg to the minced meat. (Use the rest of the egg for another dish if desired.) Mix the minced meat thoroughly with your hands.
- Form small meatballs with wet hands.
- Peel young potatoes and cut into small cubes.
- Peel the onions and cut into small cubes.
- Peel the carrots and grate on a medium grater.
- Combine potatoes, carrots and onions in a saucepan.
- Pour in 1.5 liters of hot water, bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes.
- Cut the young cabbage into small thin strips.
- When the vegetables are ready, place the meatballs in a saucepan.
- Then add cabbage, salt and black pepper to taste.
- Bring to a boil and cook the soup for another 15 minutes.
- Soup with meatballs, new potatoes and cabbage is ready to serve.
