Cake “Tiramisu”

Tiramisu is very easy to make at home. In this recipe, you will learn how you can replace expensive products such as mascarpone cheese and savoyardi cookies while getting the great taste of the classic tiramisu dessert.

Ingredients

For biscuit dough:

  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Flour – 100 g
  • Baking powder for dough – 10 g
  • Vanilla sugar

For filling:

  • Yolks – 5 pcs.
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Curd cheese (curd) – 200 g
  • Cream 26% (for whipping) – 400 g
  • Gelatin – 20 g
  • Water – 150 g

For impregnation:

  • Coffee (instant or natural, prepared) – 2/3 cup

For decoration:

  • Jelly (eg cherry) – 1 sachet (90 g)
  • Water – 400 g
  • Berries (optional)

Directions

  1. Instead of savoyardi cookies, prepare a biscuit.
    For a biscuit dough, first, beat the eggs well with a mixer.
  2. Add sugar and vanilla sugar. Whisk.
  3. Add flour and baking powder. Stir the dough (beat with a mixer) until smooth.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  5. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet covered with parchment.

    We bake the biscuit in a preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes.
  6. Next, we prepare the filling. Instead of mascarpone cheese, we will use regular curd cheese.
  7. First, fill the gelatin with cold water, mix. We leave to swell.
  8. Beat the cream with a mixer until fluffy (from once, without interrupting whipping).
  9. Separate 5 yolks.
  10. Beat the egg yolks with sugar.
  11. Add cheese, whisk. Heat the swollen gelatin until dissolved (for example, in a microwave).
  12. Add whipped cream to the yolk-curd mass.
  13. Add the dissolved gelatin, beat until smooth.
  14. Cut the biscuit cake in the shape in which the cake will be prepared.
  15. Pour the sponge cake over the coffee, so that the cake is well saturated.
  16. Pour out the curd-creamy mass.
  17. We spread the remaining pieces of biscuit.
  18. Pour the rest of the coffee.
  19. Pour out the remaining filling.
    We place the dessert in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours.
  20. After that, pour the tiramisu cake with pre-prepared jelly (add cherries to the cherry jelly).
  21. Decorate the tiramisu (cherry) dessert with the remaining whipped cream.
  22. Leave the tiramisu cake in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
  23. We release the cake from the sides of the form.
