Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast (or other poultry)
  • 12 cardamom pods
  • 12 juniper berries
  • 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, or 2 cloves
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ cumin
  • 4 peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ marjoram
  • 250 ml olive oil

Instructions

  1. Remove the peel from the cardamom seeds, place in a mortar and mash. Now put all the ingredients together in the mortar to the cardamom seeds and pound well.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into cubes and place in a can or a freezer bag with the oil. Now you can mix the spices with the meat and let everything stand for 45-60 minutes.
  3. Put everything in a pan (not on the highest setting, otherwise the spices will burn and it tastes bitter) and fry until done.
