Chicken in Yoghurt Sauce

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet or breast – 600 grams (you can also use chicken on the bone)
  • Natural yogurt – 1.5 Glasses
  • Hard cheese – 150 Grams
  • Salt – To taste
  • Ground black pepper – To taste
  • Other Spices – To taste
  • Garlic – 3-4 Cloves
  • Lemon – 1 Piece

Directions

  1. Lightly beat the chicken fillet, season with salt, pepper, add other spices, mix and leave to marinate at room temperature for about half an hour.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. To do this, peel and chop the garlic.
  3. Grate the zest on a fine grater.
  4. Mix garlic and zest with yogurt. Salt.
  5. Place the chicken in a baking dish and pour over the sauce. cover with a lid or foil and send to an oven preheated to 180C for about half an hour.
  6. At this time, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
  7. Sprinkle the chicken with cheese, increase the temperature to 20 ° C and cook until golden brown. Serve hot with any side dish.
