Chocolate “Crazy Cake” without Eggs and Milk

This popular American pie is suitable for those who are fasting. Crazy Cake, even though it is cooked without eggs and dairy products, turns out to be very juicy and chocolatey. It is desirable to take high-quality cocoa, it plays a major role here.

Ingredients
- Flour – 190 g
- Sugar – 120 g
- Cocoa powder – 30 g
- Vegetable oil – 70 g
- Hot water – 240 ml
- Apple cider vinegar 6% – 1 tbsp
- Soda – 1 teaspoon.
- Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
For glaze:
- Sour cream – 3 tbsp
- Sugar – 3 tbsp
- Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp
- Butter – 1 tbsp
For decoration:
- Coconut flakes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. It is better to sift flour, cocoa, soda so that there are no lumps (I did not sift anything at all, I just mixed everything, but I got a couple of lumps). Add sugar, vanilla sugar, vinegar, oil, and water.
- Stir the dough well with a whisk and place in an 18 cm dish lined with baking paper. Bake the chocolate cake for 40 minutes.
- Check the readiness of the cake with a toothpick – it must be dry. Cool the chocolate cake.
- For the glaze, mix sour cream, sugar, and cocoa, boil for 5-7 minutes. Add butter, stir, cool.
(For those who are fasting, melt chocolate with vegetable oil for the icing.) - Pour the chocolate icing over the lean pie.
- Sprinkle the “Crazy Cake” with coconut.
