Instructions

  1. Grease and crumble a loaf pan (30 cm). Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat.
  2. Mix all ingredients together one after the other. Pour into the loaf pan and smooth out. Bake for about 40 minutes, depending on the oven. It is best to make a stick sample after 40 minutes and bake a little longer if necessary. If the surface becomes too dark, you can cover the shape with aluminum foil. Let cool down a little in the tin, turn over, let cool down completely.
  3. Mix the icing sugar, cinnamon and water or lemon juice (depending on your taste, both tastes good) together (the glaze should be quite thick), brush the cake with it. Perhaps put a few small cinnamon stars on top as a decoration, it looks funny.
  4. Our little one invented this recipe himself because there was always too little cinnamon in every other recipe. It is slightly spicy, but contrary to expectations, the children in kindergarten literally devoured this cake.
  5. Note on the amounts of cinnamon mentioned in the comments: Xandi takes the amount given here, if you like, you can of course take more or less.
