Ingredients

  • 750 g pasta (spahetti)
  • 6 tomato (s), ripe
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 pinch (s) chilli
  • 150 ml oil (olive oil)
  • 125 g cheese (parmesan or peccorino), rated
  • 1 bunch basil

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Peel and chop the tomatoes and place in a bowl with the juice of the tomatoes. Crush the garlic, basil and chilli flakes with a pinch of salt in a blender and mix with the olive oil to form a creamy paste. Now mix the tomatoes and the garlic paste together.
  3. Drain the pasta (save a few spoons of the pasta water) and place in a bowl; Add the grated cheese and pour the pasta water over it.
  4. Mix the pasta with the sauce and sprinkle with the remaining cheese before serving.
