A tasty, healthy and such a familiar breakfast as a curd casserole can be made a bright and festive dish. Instant coffee, a couple of simple manipulations – you get a striped dessert that looks like a zebra!

Ingredients
Cottage cheese – 500 g
Semolina – 4 tbsp
Sour cream – 100 g
Eggs – 4 pcs.
Instant coffee – 3 teaspoon (6 g)
Sugar – 8 tbsp (50 g)
Vanilla sugar – 1 tbsp (10 g)
For the filling (optional):
Powdered sugar – 1-2 teaspoon
Directions
Prepare foods from the list. It is best to use fatty, homemade cottage cheese, but with a store-bought fat content of 5-9% it will also work out great. Cottage cheese casserole cooks quickly enough, so it is best to turn on the oven in advance to warm up to 180 degrees.
Combine cottage cheese, sugar, vanilla sugar, sour cream, and semolina in a deep bowl. Blend everything into a homogeneous mass with a blender.
Add eggs one at a time, stirring thoroughly each time.
Divide the resulting curd dough for casserole into two equal parts. Add instant coffee to one of them and mix thoroughly until the grains dissolve.
Transfer both pieces of dough into clean plastic bags or cream envelopes.
Cut corners in bags with dough. Line a baking dish with parchment and pour a strip of white dough along the bottom of the baking dish. Fill the other half with coffee dough.
Do the next layer the other way around – pour the coffee dough on the white dough, and white on the coffee dough. Fill in the form until the dough runs out.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Then take out the casserole dish and place it on the wire shelf to cool.
The casserole will settle slightly, as it should. Sprinkle icing sugar on the cooled cottage cheese casserole if desired and serve.
You can also garnish the dessert with fresh berries or a sprig of mint.
