- 4 slices beef (leg )
- 4 large carrot (s), sliced
- 4 large spring onions, quartered
- 4 grains spice
- 10 peppercorns
- salt
- water
- 1 bay leaf

- Put the beef leg slices in a saucepan together with the carrots cut into slices, the quartered onions, spice and peppercorns, bay leaf and salt (amount according to taste). Top up with enough water to cover all the ingredients. Now everything has to cook until the beef leg slices are cooked through.
- This goes very well with mashed potatoes.
