Ingredients
Flour – 100 g
Eggs – 4 pcs.
Sugar – 120 g
Vanilla sugar – 0.5 teaspoon
Powdered sugar – 3 tbsp
Salt – 1 pinch
Directions
Separate the whites from the yolks.
Add sugar, vanilla sugar to the yolks and beat with a blender until the sugar dissolves. The mixture will turn white and slightly increase in volume.
Separately, pour a pinch of salt into the egg whites and beat in a thick airy mass.
Introduce the proteins in portions into the yolk mass and mix everything very carefully.
Pour sifted flour into the resulting mixture in portions and also mix everything very carefully so that the mass does not fall off and remains airy.
Transfer the resulting mass into a pastry bag with a nozzle.
On a baking sheet covered with a silicone mat or parchment, squeeze out the biscuit dough in the form of sticks, leaving a
distance between them. Sprinkle with powdered sugar each.
Bake savoyardi biscuits (“Ladies fingers”) in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes (depending on the oven).
