Ingredients

  • 1 can corn
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 50 g corn flakes, sweet
  • 500 ml vegetable broth, strong, or chicken broth
  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • 1 teaspoon honey, liquid
  • a bit salt
  • nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream

For decoration:

  • Cornflakes, sweet
  • chives

Instructions

  1. Drain the corn and rinse briefly. Peel the onions and garlic, remove the green germ from the inside of the garlic and then dice both.
  2. Heat the butter in a large saucepan and sauté the onions and garlic in it. Add corn and corn flakes. Stir in the vegetable stock, cream and honey, bring to the boil once and simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes. Season with salt and freshly grated nutmeg. Take off the stove.
  3. Add the sour cream and finely puree the soup in the pot with a hand blender. Season again, season if necessary and serve in deep plates or in soup bowls. Decorate with chives and corn flakes.
