  • 320 g puff pastry, rectanular
  • 200 g cottae cheese
  • 100 g cheese
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 bunch herbs, your choice
  • some pepper
  • little salt
  • spice (s)

Instructions

  1. Line the tray with baking paper, preheat the oven to 200-210 ° C and prepare the puff pastry.
  2. Wash the herbs, chop finely, mix with the cottage cheese and cheese. Season to taste with pepper, a little salt and spices as desired. Whisk eggs and add to them.
  3. Spread everything on the puff pastry sheet and roll up from the long side. Cut the roll into approx. 3 cm thick slices, carefully place the slices on the prepared tray, press the snails into place if necessary and bake in the oven for approx. 30 - 35 minutes.

  5. Instead of grainy cream cheese, normal cream cheese or ricotta can also be used. It gets really smart with chives or wild garlic as herbs. You can also mix 100 g of cooked ham or bacon cubes into the mixture. The snails taste good both warm and cold.
