Ingredients
- 1 head white cabbage
- 500 g potato (s)
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds, fresh from the mill or whole
- 1 large onion (s)
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 500 ml tomato (s), passed
- 250 ml puree (paprika-tomato), alternatively ajvar
- 500 ml water
- 1 teaspoon herbal salt
- some herb salt
- Pepper, fresh from the mill

- Remove bad outer leaves and stalk from white cabbage and either cut into cubes or slice. Peel and dice the potatoes. Peel and dice the onion and garlic.
- Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sear the onion and garlic in it, then add the tomatoes, the pepper-tomato puree (recipe for my recipes) or the ajvar, the water, the caraway seeds, the herb salt and the cabbage and Boil. Simmer over low heat for about 35 minutes, then add the potatoes and finish cooking in another 20-25 minutes. At the end, season again with herb salt and pepper.
