Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 100 g suar
  • 300 ml milk
  • 100 g oil
  • 1 cube yeast, fresh
  • 1 pinch (s) salt

For the sprinkles:

  • 400 g flour
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 250 g butter

Instructions

  1. For the yeast dough, crumble the yeast and stir it in the lukewarm milk until there is a yeast milk. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 10 minutes.
  2. Then put the flour in a large bowl. Add the sugar, oil and a pinch of salt. Add the yeast milk and knead into a smooth dough with the dough hook of the hand mixer. Cover and let rise to double size in a warm place (approx. 60 min.).
  3. Knead again, cover and let rest for approx. 10 minutes and then roll out. Place on a baking sheet that has been greased or lined with baking paper. Now let rise for another 20 minutes (covered so that no skin develops).
  4. During this time, the streusel is prepared. For the crumble, simply put all the ingredients (flour, sugar, butter) in a bowl and knead into a crumbly dough. The butter should be very soft (maybe heat it up briefly in the micro), then it works much better!
  5. Carefully brush the yeast dough with water and now distribute the crumble evenly on the dough. Now turn on the oven. During this time, the dough can rise again.
  6. Bake at 180 ° C, preheated, for 30 minutes. With top and bottom heat 200 ° C.
  7. The oil makes this crumble cake very fluffy!
